臨床実習前に備えるべき臨床能力と臨床実習で修得できる能力について、またその修得に効果的な教育について模索することが本研究の目的である。2022年度は、臨床実習に臨む前に備えるべき臨床能力と臨床実習で修得できる臨床能力、また、効果的な臨床教育方法について明確にすることを目的としたアンケート調査を行った。調査対象は最終学年の理学療法学生とし、臨床実習に臨む学生が修得すべき事項のうち、最も重要だと考える事項とその理由、臨床的思考過程を身につけるためには、どのような学習や指導が良いと考えるか、また、実習後の学生においては、実習を通して最も成長したと感じる点を回答してもらった。また、卒業時に備えるべき臨床能力について、教育を受けた者として卒業生の視点から検討するために、実際に理学療法業務に従事し、自身が在学中に修得した能力と臨床現場で求められる能力とを照らし合わせて考えることが可能となる卒後1年以上が経過した理学療法士を対象とし、臨床現場で必要とされる臨床能力のうち、重要だと感じている事項、学内教育が不十分だったと感じる事項、学内教育で修得でき、現在役立っていると感じている事項とそれを修得できた科目および、臨床現場で必要とされる臨床能力修得の観点から、学内教育で不要と考える内容について、記述形式を主としたアンケート調査を行った。選択肢の集計や得点などの量的な分析に加えて、インタビューや自由記載内容といった文章を、文脈を捉えて解析するテキストマイニング法を取り入れ、質的な分析を進めている。
