2022年度に実施予定であった保育現場における調査が、第８波の流行が起きたために、計画自体が全く実行できなかった。本研究は２週間の身体活動量の調査期間及び体力測定のために保育現場で直接幼児と接触することが必須のため、第８波のピークが過ぎた後でも感染症予防の対策に追われている保育現場の負担を考えて直接的な調査はできなかった。このため、文献により最近の保育所の活動の動向を調査するに留まった。
