项目摘要

平成30(2018)年3月に高等学校の新学習指導要領が告示された。国語科は、共通必履修科目として「現代の国語」「言語文化」、選択科目として「論理国語」「文学国語」「国語表現」「古典探究」が新設された。共通必履修科目である「現代の国語」の指導事項には、「話すこと・聞くこと」「書くこと」「読むこと」が全て含まれている。一方の共通必履修科目である「言語文化」には指導事項「話すこと・聞くこと」領域に属するものが含まれていない。しかし、「言語文化」において取り扱われる古典文学作品は、「話すこと・聞くこと」の力を育成する教材としても十分に耐えうる潜在性を秘めている。本研究は、この潜在性を現代社会の要請に応えられる能力を育成するものとして顕在化させる。そして、教材としての古典文学作品を有効に活用・教授し、現代教育における古典の位置づけ（再評価）および新たな授業モデル（教材開発、授業方法、評価方法）を確立することが目的である。本年度は、まず「言語文化」所載の「比べ読み」についての調査から始めた。それは、大きく3つのタイプに分類できる。すなわち、(1)文学作品とその典拠との比較、(2)同テーマを取り扱った文章の比較、(3)文学作品(和歌)とその現代語訳との比較である。現行教科書における「比べ読み」の多くは、ある文学作品とその典拠の比較であることがわかった。そこで単なる典拠との比較にとどまらず、異なる作品あるいは同じ作品内における類似するシチュエーションの記述を教材として用いて、比べ読みを行い、学習者に共通点と相違点を認識させることを目指す。現在までに、『枕草子』と『紫式部日記』、『栄花物語』と『大鏡』、『源氏物語』などの用例を収集し、教材の開発を行った。
