「いじめ」は集団の病理であると同時に、病理や集合体のあり方を記述し同定する言語の歪みがもたらす現象、すなわち「言語の生み出す社会問題」である。いじめ行為において用いられるミクロの言語には常套句や特定のパターンといった偏りを見出すことができる。そうしたいじめを報道し論評する言説にも、いまや手垢のついた常套句や特定の言語的パターンを見出さざるを得ない。このような構造を摘出し対象化するとともに、こうした構造を打開し乗り越えるための対抗言説を見出すことが本研究の目的である。本年度はまず第１に、ミクロとマクロに通底し両者を接合する構造を明確化するため、マクロ言説、特に研究者や評論家の手になる論考やルポの言説を中心に体系的な分析的再検討を行った。この作業を通して、前述した問題意識や申請者の直感を資料をもとに確認するとともに、両者を整合的に位置づける入れ子構造の図式についての着想を得て、資料の追加検討を行うとともにいくつかの試論としてまとめ上げ、学会等での検討に付した。第２に、ミクロな言説における偏りや影響について、かねて取り組んできた教員養成課程学生のテキスト収集をさらに体系的に展開するとともに、メタファーを活用した対抗言説の創出を試みた。第３に、こうした言説分析および言説実践について、方法論的基盤を整備するための理論的な検討を行った。これらの研究および現時点での知見についても学会等での検討に付している。
