项目摘要

1. 昨年度にで入力したデータに加えて、1998年に調査したアインシェー村とパイエーチュン村の調査データを、昨年入力した村のフォーマットにあわせて入力した。これで1993年から98年にかけて調査した7カ村の調査データを全て入力することができた。2. 資料に関しては、農業政策や農村開発政策に関する法律や統計資料を中心に収集した。特に、Burma Law Reportという最高裁の判決を年毎にまとめた資料を1948年から72年まで購入することができたのは収穫であった。3. 調査データについては少しづつ必要に応じてデータを加工し、村落横断的な比較ができるようにした。この様な意図から作られた表やグラフを用い、ミャンマーの労働力移動、土地所有構造、就業構造、非農業雇用の季節変動、光熱エネルギーの消費構造等について、いろいろな研究会や講演で報告を行った。4. しかし市場経済下の農村構造を全体的に捉えるためのデータ加工はまだ中途であり、著書の執筆と並行して進めていきたい。また、今まで購入した諸資料を活用して、農村のおかれた自然的、歴史的、政策的環境についても記述を進めていく所存である。そしてこれが出来上がった際には、成果報告のための助成金を申請する希望を持っている。
