研究計画調書では，2023年度に次の2点を実施予定としていた．1) 学科系統分類表作成基準の確認：まずは研究の前提になる作業として，学科系統分類表の更新方法，つまり年度ごとの加除修正がどのように行われているのかを確認する．作成主体である文部科学省に照会すると同時に，大学設置審査要覧や大学設置室で公開する申請資料等を精査する．2) データセットの作成：大学・学部がホームページ上で公開する履修案内掲載の卒業要件を参照しながら，表計算ソフトを使ってデータセットを作成する．公開がない場合には個別に問い合わせ，必要に応じて資料収集のための訪問調査を行う．データセットには学科の属性に係る変数（設置年，国公私の別，偏差値，ST比など）に加え，カリキュラムに関する変数（必修科目の名称および単位数など）を入力する．本作業においては研究助手の協力を求める．1)については，文部科学省の学校基本調査係に問い合わせ，①年度ごとの加除修正は大学からの申請に基づいて実施しており，現存しない学科名も学科系統分類表には掲載されていること，②同名学科が異なる小分類として登録されているケースに関しては，文部科学省の資料を参照することで小分類の特定が可能であること，が明らかとなった．２）2020年度に学生募集を行っていた4年制の約5000学科について，学科の属性と必修科目情報（科目名，単位数，配当年次）を記録したデータセットがほぼ完成した．必修科目情報が不明な学科に関しては，今後個別調査を行い，できるだけ網羅性の高いデータセットの作成を目指す．

The completion requirements disclosed in the implementation plan are referred to and the table calculation software is prepared. Open to the public, in case of individual inquiries, necessary inquiries, data collection and access surveys. The attribute of the subject is related to the number (setting year, national public and private, deviation value, ST ratio), and the number of related subjects (name of required subject) is added. For this assignment, we will ask for cooperation from research assistants. 1) We will ask for cooperation from the Department of Basic Survey of Schools of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. 1) We will ask for annual addition and correction of the application for the basic survey of universities. 2) We will ask for the classification of subject systems of existing subject names. 3) We will ask for the registration of small categories of subjects with the same name. Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology data refer to the data of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. 2) Student recruitment for the year 2020 is about 5000 subjects in the 4-year system. The attributes of the subjects and the required subject information (subject name, unit number, allocation year) are recorded. Required subject information is not related to the subject. In the future, individual investigations will be conducted.
