2022年度は、研究フィールドである運動発達支援活動に参加する子どもの中から、本研究の対象児を選定し、運動指導の開始を行う時期とした。当初の予定通り運動発達支援活動を開始することができ、幼児期から小学校、中学校までの子どもが参加した。参加する子どもは、身体的な不器用さを中核とした運動発達の支援を希望する子どもであった。複数の候補者の中から2022年度は3名の対象児に対してアセスメントを実施することができた。アセスメントは、先行研究に基づいて、世界的に標準化された身体的不器用さのアセスメントツールであるMovement ABC-2（Henderson et al.,2007）を使用した。各対象児は、保護者からの聞き取りや運動遊び場面の観察から身体的不器用さが確認されており、Movement-ABC2の結果でも、全ての対象児において平均よりも著しく低い成績が示された。加えて、すべての対象児には運動を行うことに対する自信の低さが顕著であり、運動有能感の低さが認められていた。以上のような対象児に対して、課題指向型アプローチによる運動指導を計画した。指導内容は、それぞれの対象児の興味関心に合わせたものであり、具体的には、身体動作模倣を目的とする体操やストレッチ、ボールを使った的当てやフライングディスクを用いた簡易なスポーツ活動などである。2022年度中はこれらの運動指導の計画段階に留まり、具体的な運動指導の開始は2023年度からとなった。2023年度から実施する運動指導では、本研究の目的に応じて、どのようなボールが扱いやすいのか、あるいは扱いにくいのかという視点や、ターゲットを含めた周りの環境をどのように調整すればよいのか、といった観点をもとに対象児の動作の変動の過程を分析していきたい。
