2022年度は、計画に沿って中規模病院における看護業務の実態調査を進めた。まず8～9月に東京都心部の民間病院（198床）の看護部に打診して調査協力を得、計画を相談の上11月に東京医科歯科大学統合教育機構の倫理審査委員会に審査申請し、12月に研究計画の承認を得た。COVID-19の流行状況を見ながら調査先と調査スケジュールを確定し、1月末～2月にインタビューおよび看護業務の直接観察調査を実施した。調査内容は、①病棟看護師長への病棟および看護業務の概要、業務負担感やロボットとのワークシェアの希望に関する対面式半構造的インタビュー、②病棟看護師の日勤業務の直接観察調査である。①では、調査対象病院の全5病棟に看護師長各1名に対し、約30分のインタビューを実施した。COVID-19対応のための体制も含めた、病床数や看護職員配置、一日の業務の流れ等の背景情報を得た。負担感の大きい看護業務としては、看護記録（特にクリニカルパスの流れに乗らない個別の記録や、入退院時のサマリー等）、病室での患者の見守り、清潔ケア（清拭、入浴介助、陰部洗浄等）、処置やケアの物品準備等が挙げられた。②においては、対象者はその病棟の標準的な看護業務を自立して実施できる看護師とし、看護師長に各病棟2名の選出を依頼した。既定の勤務時間に関わらず、日勤の開始から終了までを観察した。観察した行動は40カテゴリーに分類され、記録／入力、スタッフ間での情報交換、病棟内での移動、患者との会話、医療処置が上位5つであった。ロボットに委譲したい業務としては、薬剤管理（与薬の確認・記録、配薬等）、患者の移動（ベッド⇔車いす／ストレッチャー）、補助者業務（補助者がいない場合の代替）、看護記録等が挙げられた。今後データの分析および看護補助者業務についても調査を行う予定である。
