(1) 前年度の検討に基づき指点字入力動作時における指の動作、特に打点強度を観察するための6点点字入力手段を作成した。(2) (1)の設備による指動作を計測するソフトウェア、特に今年度は打点強度に注目し、その観察用ソフトを作成した。(3) (1)と(2)で整備した設備により、指点字入力時の指動作を分析を開始した。指による打点強度の分布に大きな偏りがあるため、その正規化法を検討した。打点時間長は、文節区切りと強調の情報があること、音節内の長さが河野による音声の直感的リズム把握可能な範囲と一致し、文節間は論理的判断のリズムと重なることが見出された。このことは、実時間理解に重要な関係があるものと考えられる。また、打点圧力は時間長さと高い相関が見られ、実時間理解を容易にする冗長さとして寄与している可能性が高いと考えられる。(4) 指点字出力手段の方式の検討を開始した。以上
