The Administrative Core will coordinate the activities of the individual projects and the Morphology Core and will serve as the interface between the Program Project and visitors, advisory committee members, the Office of Research Affairs at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, and the Division of Lung Diseases. The core will develop the agendas of the twice monthly research meetings of the project leaders and will implement administrative decisions taken at these meetings. The core will assist with service contracts and payments for repairs for shared equipment. The core will handle payments for investigators' travel and for expenses associated with publications. The core will develop the agendas for visitors and assist them with travel arrangements. The core will prepare reports for institutional review commitees and progress reports for the NIH.
