This project concerns the study of model-theoretic dividing lines in the context of finite structures, including graphs, hypergraphs, and subsets of abelian groups. One focus is the study of the implications of higher-order tameness assumptions, recently formulated by Terry and Wolf, for the so-called Erdos-Hajnal property in hypergraphs, first investigated by Erdos and Hajnal in the late 1980s.
