Working on the cutting-edge of Machine Learning, Medicine and Social Science.The project will tackle the critical challenge of AI fairness and bias in health data. It will identify data bias and develop novel generative architectures (based on GANs for example) that can mitigate bias in general and representation bias in particular. It will also compare the effectiveness of generated synthetic data in addressing health data bias.
