This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. He has undertaken a variety studies related to pathology of the central nervous system. In this reporting period, he was interested in invasion of brain endothelial cells by Candida albicans yeast, and inflammation in neonatal rat meningitis.
