This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. An integral part of developing computational models of cell biological processes is obtaining quantitative and spatially resolved data, largely from fluorescence microscopy-based technologies. NRCAM is housed within the Center for Cell Analysis and Modeling (CCAM; formerly named the Center for Biomedical Imaging Technology), a Research Center within the University that also provides a user facility. CCAM user facilities have been in operation for the past 10 years, with defined user fees in place for access to the equipment and technical assistance. Users who require extensive assistance are requested to form collaborative arrangements with CCAM faculty to fund their usage.
