Short-term visitors programme for the Bristol Astrophysics Group

We wish to continue the short-term visitors programme of the Bristol Astrophysics Group, which has been successful at strengthening the Group's research output through enhanced national and international contacts. This is particularly important in relation to the extensive continuing work with collaborators from other continents, where productive research is greatly helped up by a personal visit. Over the past three years a large fraction of the Group's papers have been based on collaborations with visitors funded through the short-term visitors programme.
