AN OPEN-LABEL, PILOT STUDY OF SAFETY AND TOLERABILITY

安全性和耐受性的开放标签试点研究

基本信息

项目摘要

This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. The purpose of this study is to collect preliminary information concerning the safety, tolerability, dosing, and effectiveness of the use of modafinil in individuals after stroke. If our preliminary results suggest that this medication is useful and safe for stroke patients, we will undertake a larger study to prove it's safety and effectiveness.
