This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The aim of this study is to determine the effects of static exercise on renal blood flow in healthy subjects and how it differs between heart failure patients, renal transplant patients, as a result of aging and as a result of gender. The investigators believe that these studies will help to better understand the contribution of the renal circulation to blood pressure regulation during exercise.
