Primary Cardiovascular/Metabolic To examine the incidence and prevalence, and changes over time of hypertension, insulin resistance, abnormal fasting glucose, and the metabolic syndrome in subjects on long-term HAART. Opportunistic Infections To examine the incidence of opportunistic infections, describe their clinical presentations, and correlate their incidence and clinical presentations with markers of immune reconstitution and virological control. Neurology To examine the incidence and prevalence, and changes in these measures over time, of cognitive impairment and peripheral neuropathy as ascertained by a screening neuropsychologic and neurologic examination.
