This Fellowship will support Professor Anthony Rodgers to continue a track record of excellence in health research, public-private partnerships and innovation. He has led landmark cardiovascular trials and was Principal Author of the WHO World Health Report. He plans a program of research on new combination cardiovascular medicines ('polypills'). Polypill trials that Professor Rodgers initiated have recently shown improved clinical outcomes, patient acceptability, quality of life and cost savings.
