PureInbox is an Edmonton-area SME that offers a cloud-based synchronization tool for PIM (Personal Information Manager) data (e.g. calendar entries, to-do lists, contacts) stored on BlackBerry smartphones. This software is currently available through the BlackBerry App World service, and has attracted users from around the globe. PureInbox believes they have an opportunity to add context-aware services in their next-generation products; however, they lack the expertise in data mining needed to build these services. To meet this need, PureInbox and the applicant will establish a new collaboration to create a prototype context-aware application.
