Non-invasive brain stimulation shows promise in the treatment of various neurological disorders such as depression, epilepsy, stroke, addiction and pain. However, current systems do not measure or provide feedback during brain stimulation thus limiting the effectiveness of the treatment. Feedback provided during the stimulation could aid tailoring and adjustment of the non-invasive brain stimulation parameters for the individual patient, resulting in a more efficient treatment.
