The objective of this collaborative research project is to improve the methodology we have developed for the automatic recognition of facial/pattern occurrences from sample images captured in real time. The improvements aim at increasing the performance in recognizing certain demographic features (age, gender, and ethnicity) and presenting the results in a convenient format to other applications including advertisement smart appliances, homeland security administrators, lawmakers, etc.
