This DG proposal builds on expertise accumulated at uSherbrooke to develop improved structures for optoelectronics integration on silicon devices, as well as for high efficiency photovoltaic cells for the next generation of solar energy supplies. Our ability to make advanced nanostructures provides a toolbox of solutions that we can bring to bear on this technology objective. The work connects closely with industry leaders in the domain (both in Canada and abroad) as well as with other university groups engaged in system deployment aspects of these devices.
