Globalization has become an essential methodology to bridge the gap between demand and supply and to optimize international food trade. Nevertheless, this trend has increased the chances of food contamination and migration of diseases through infected food. Food tractability has been introduced as a tool to track and control the health and safety of fruits and vegetables to avoid circulation of diseases such as mad cow disease, avian flu, etc. To track the location and movement of food a variety of indoor and outdoor tracking solutions has been introduced. A common limitation with most tracking technologies in the market is the existence of glitch in arriving signals. The glitch negatively impacts the system resolution and introduces temporary system instability.
