Wind tower production is mainly divided into 2 parts: Black and white tower process. The black tower production consists of blasting, cutting, beveling, bending, horizontal welding, flanging, vertical welding, and door frame assembly. On the other hand, white tower production involves blasting, painting, drying, and internal mounting. It is mainly the black tower production that is sensitive to operational conditions and hence causes variability in daily throughput. Therefore, the proposed study will focus on the scheduling of the black tower production.
