MaltBroue is an on-the-farm micromalting facility located in Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac, Québec. They produce malting barley, specialty malts and malting equipment. They have developed their own malting equipment that allows for smaller amounts of malt to be produced in a more controlled process. This flexible equipment can be adjusted to the characteristics of the raw material, promoting a better tailored product. For 13 years, MaltBroue Inc. has offered high quality specialty caramel malts. MaltBroue has requested the assistance of CCNB Biorefinery Technology Scale-up Centre (CCNB-BTSC) to explore opportunities to expand its line of products with pale malts.
