Manitoba is a major transportation hub for North America with a strong manufacturing presence which employs approximately 6,500 individuals, or about 10% of Manitoba's manufacturing workforce. Heavy vehicle manufacturing products account annually for about $2 billion in sales and approximately $1 billion (or about 10%) of the province's total exports.
