The research proposed in this grant application focuses on the development of ZnSb-based materials with improved thermoelectric properties. The project addresses the needs of the TECTEG MFR. Company (a division of Thermal Electronics Corp., Aurora, ON) for an inexpensive high-performance thermoelectric material. The new materials will allow the company to reduce the production cost and extend the working temperature of the thermoelectric modules till 200-300C.
