CAMufacturing Solutions Inc. develops software to program, interact and simulate manufacturing systems for aerospace, automotive, energy and biomedical applications for Fortune 100 companies to small manufacturing facilities. Currently under development is software to program and simulate additive manufacturing (AM) processes on CNC machine tools and robots. CAMufacturing wishes to leverage the expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning at the University of Windsor for research on two critical AM modules that do not yet exist in any commercial AM process planning software: generation of a virtual 3D part model from AM process information, and heat transfer modelling for adjusting the process parameters during tool path
