Kinectrics Inc. and Carleton University are collaborating to develop the basic mechanistic premise for a predictive model for the distribution of hydrogen near to the surface of CANDU pressure tubes cooled from operating conditions. The goal is to provide complementary predictive capabilities to support ongoing fitness-for-service surveillance campaigns for hydrogen ingress in reactors.
