Bishop Water Technologies Inc (BWT) is a leading company in wastewater technologies. BWT has developed a simple, ecofriendly, and cost-effective solution for wastewater treatment (municipal and industrial) using the BioCord technology (man-made biofilm). BioCord cleans wastewater by promoting biofilm growth and the associated microbial community that breaks down ammonia and generally removes nutrients in wastewater lagoons. However, the BioCord works less effectively during the colder months with the result that ammonia removal diminishes in winter as noted by clients. This project proposes to identify the reasons for the reduction
