Fleexer is an online tool on which organizations (profit and non-profit) post projects and individuals apply forthem. The tool enables building effective and complementary teams, by matching individuals to projects takinginto account the project's requirements and the individual's qualifications, experience and preferences. In thisproject, we will develop methods for automatic project-applicant matching that address the idiosyncrasies ofthe matching process as faced by Fleexer. Specifically, we will develop methods that, first, extract meaningfulinformation from the textual descriptions of project requirements and applicant qualifications, and then, usingthe extracted information, identify the best applicants for each project.
