Vast amounts of medical imaging data are being generated in today's clinical and research domains. Forexample, a single brain scan with magnetoencephalography (MEG) can generate almost 2Gb of data. Withincreased access and use of brain imaging technologies such as MEG, MRI and others, this explosion of datawill continue. However, currently there are no good solutions to securely store, manipulate and visualize thesevaried brain imaging data. This grant will allow for a partnership between researchers and an industrial partnerto help solve this urgent problem.
