Stambol Studios (www.stambol.com) is a BC industry leader in realistic immersive experiences using virtual**reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR). The company is constantly working on broadening its VR/AR**platforms and applications and has begun developing VR athletic performance and health products. Towards**that end, Stambol Studios is interested in working closely with Dr. Ryan D'Arcy to better develop their tools**through the utilization of functional brain imaging evaluations to characterize neural processing, bench**cognitive behavioural changes against neurophysiological measurements, and evaluate the translational**capabilities of VR/AR cognitive tools to generalizable information processing improvements. Specifically, Dr.**D'Arcy's expertise in brain wave measurement through portable electroencephalography (EEG) as this**technology can be fully deployed and integrated with Stambol's cognitive training tools. Sensory Performance**Assessment, Analysis and Improvement are being offered using bulky, expensive and dated hardware, and each**is provided through one dimensional applications with no continuous monitoring, and without correlation to**other aspects of brain health. Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Eye Tracking technologies provide**unique opportunities to combine all the sensory performance assessment and training applications in one**common device and platform to evaluate and improve human sensory performance and brain health.**HyperVision improves sensory performance measurement by improving the cost and space requirements to**perform tests, such as depth perception, eye hand coordination, decision making, continuous and split attention,**visual perception and memory. We then add additional value by providing VR training exercises through**stroboscopic training with the VR headset, then apply the new techniques in simulated scenarios; collecting all**data for comparable analysis and evaluating brain health and sensory performance.
