英文摘要
The joint Canada China initiative on Clean Automotive Transportation offers a timely opportunity to combine current**research being conducted at McMaster University in Canada and Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT). Some of the**factors motivating this project are: a large investment in the development and deployment of electrified vehicles is**currently underway globally, China is, and continues to be, an early adopter of electrified vehicles. Conventional internal**combustion engine (ICE) technology has extensive condition monitoring built into the engine controls. Suitable condition**monitoring for electrified vehicles to allow this new technology to compete with the existing ICE technology is an area of**active research and in high demand by industry. For this proposal we intend to develop and refine condition monitoring**techniques developed by McMaster and BIT and implement them in commercial equipment manufactured by the**industry partners. For all electrified vehicles the battery remains one of the most critical components. Current battery**monitoring systems used for the development of the battery systems as well as those used for the optimization of invehicle**battery r:nanagement systems requires reliable measurement of the state of charge (SOC) and state of health**(SOH) of the battery. Existing techniques for SOH measurements are generally quite imprecise and thus of limited use in**optimization of the battery system. McMaster University has done considerable research on fault detection and**prognostics, and our research is showing great promise in applying these techniques to determine both SOC and SOH**of battery systems. D&V electronics, based in Woodbridge Ontario, is a supplier of test equipment with a significant**global share of vehicle electrical component test equipment. Eontronix is a company based in China that is both a**distributor and a systems integration supplier. Shanghai Edrive is a very important manufacturer of EV driving motor**systems in China with extensive research capabilities and supplies a large share of the Chinese market for EV**components. Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) is a leading Chinese research institute with a large program**specializing in electrified vehicles. The proposed collaboration· with D&V and McMaster will combine the SOC and SOH**algorithms developed at McMaster with the equipment designed and manufactured by D&V, to provide a commercial**product with accurate SOC and SOH capabilities. Similarly, BIT will apply its research to condition monitoring of electric**motor and transmission systems and Eontronix will apply these techniques to both the test lab and in-vehicle**components. The final result will be condition monitoring systems for batteries, electric motors and transmissions of HEV
