Tornado Spectral Systems would like to address two closely linked shortcomings. Firstly, the limited access to a number of in-situ real-time chemical and fuel process applications, and, secondly, the shortage of research findings to support the deployment of their new contact and non-contact probes and chemometric models. Development in these two areas would facilitate a technological advancement and competitive edge in their in-situ real-time monitoring of fuel and chemical processes by Raman spectroscopy. Extensive testing of the Hyperflux PRO Plus Raman Process Analyzer of Tornado Spectral Systems applied to a variety of pilot plants performing multiphase chemical reactions is proposed. The technological advancements derived from this testing would validate the technology and lead to the development of leading probes and generic process chemometric models.
