Mathematical Sciences: Semiparametric Models

半参数模型包含参数（有限维）和非参数（无限维）组件。单个观测值或关联观测值的比例风险模型就是例子；对于部分删减数据的其他模型也会导致这种类型的模型。这项研究将开发有效的估计器，并将解决关于这些模型的参数部分的测试假设的问题。

Semiparametric models incorporate both parametric (finite- dimensional) components and nonparametric (infinite-dimensional) components. Proportional hazards models for single observations or for linked observations are examples; other models for partially censored data also lead to models of this type. This research will develop efficient estimators and will address the problem of testing hypotheses about the parametric portions of these models.
