In our laboratory, they found that 4 weeks of mild exercise and supplementation of the powerful carotenoid Astaxanthin (ASX) had a potent synergistic effect on cognitive function and neuroplasticity in mice. To apply this evidence to mental fatigue in humans, the purpose of this study was to develop a reliable experimental model. Consequently, this study was to clarify the effects of ASX supplementation on cognitive fatigue recovery. During the period, items were prepared for carrying out this study, and specific designs for the experiment were in progress. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, no actual experiment was conducted.
