Epidemiological Study of Periodontal Disease and Periodontal Preventive Program.

本研究的目的是根据流行病学情况制定牙周预防计划。本研究由3个子研究组成。方法和结果如下：流行病学研究：老年人牙周状况较年轻人差。探针口袋深度（PD）和附着水平（AL）在3年内无明显变化。但深袋大于4mm的AL比浅袋小于4mm的AL的附着损失更大。存在部位特异性和个体特异性。牙齿健康状况：老年人没有很多牙齿时，谁更喜欢吃甜食。2 .口腔健康状况与生活方式、吸烟情况、一般健康状况及居住地有关。预防牙周病：预防教育。影响口腔健康。特别是3次口腔健康教育比1次口腔健康教育效果更好，对提高患者对牙周病的认识具有重要意义。

The purpose of this study was to frame a periodontal preventive plan on epidemiological situation.This study consisted of 3sub-studies. The methods and results were followings.1.Epidemiological study : old age group was worse than young age group on periodontal status. Most of probing pocket depth(PD)and attchment level(AL)showed any change for 3 years. But AL with deep pocket over 4mm at baseline showed more attachment loss than AL with shallow pocket less than 4mm. There were site specificity and individual specificity.2.Dental Health Situation : Old age group did not have many teeth when who was prefer to eat sweet food. Oral health situation related to life-style, smoking general health condition and place of residence.3.Prevention of Periodontal Disease : Preventive education. effected oral health. Especially 3 times education is most effective than 1 time on group oral health education And, it was very important to lead the patient to a better understanding of one's periodontal disease.
