Maoist People's War and Peacebuilding in Nepal

毛派人民战争和尼泊尔停战后的和平建设在日本和国外都没有得到足够的研究。尼泊尔是一个发展中小国，但在地缘政治上非常重要，因为它位于亚洲两大巨人印度和中国之间。而且，毛派人民战争是发展中国家的一个严重关切，因为它几乎在尼泊尔全境迅速而广泛地蔓延。在这项研究中，我们分析了毛主义党的意识形态和组织，人民战争的开始和发展，停战，以及尼泊尔停战后的和平建设过程。我们的结论是，毛派人民战争是由不断扩大的发展差距造成的，因此，建设和平只能沿着缩小尼泊尔社会的这些差距。

The Maoist People's War and the peacebuilding after the truce in Nepal have not been studied enough in Japan as well as abroad. Nepal is a small developing country but geopolitically it is very important since it is just situated between Asian two giants, India and China. And, the Maoist People's War is a grave concern of developing countries since it has so fast and widely spread almost all over Nepal. In this study, we analyze the ideology and organization of the Maoist Party, the opening and development of the People's War, the truce, and the process of peacebuilding after the truce in Nepal. And we conclude that the Maoist People's War is caused by the widening development gaps and therefore the peacebuilding can progress only along with lessening these gaps in the Nepali society.
