The second application for the continuation of funding will make the termination of the three-volume Treatise on International Criminal Law, i.e., its third volume, possible. At the moment of writing this application the first two volumes (on Foundations and General Part and Crimes and Sentencing) have been published and the work on the third volume has been started. In the remaining time of the first application for the continuation of funding Chapters I, III and IV shall be completed. The other Chapters and a full revision of the whole volume shall be carried out throughout the period of this second application. Given that the original application has been reduced from three advanced researchers to one with the respective student hours and also the first application for continuance has been cut down by half, it was not possible to finish the project with the so considerably reduced research assistance. In any case, with this application only one advanced researcher half time with the respective student hours is requested.
