To derive strategies for a versatile learning factory, a taxonomy of drivers and enablers for versatili-ty will be compiled, taking into account local needs and conditions of industrialised and emerging countries. This will be lead over to the dimensions of learning factories and implemented in the de-sign approach of learning conducive work systems. To form a global learning network, appropriate digital tools will be identified, information for exchange specified and gateways for the flow of in-formation designed, to provide the technical infrastructure for the linking of learnstruments and learning factories.
