项目摘要

本研究は、聞き書きによって沖縄戦の体験を記録する営為の総称である沖縄戦体験記録運動の内実を、聞き手である記録者側に即して考察するものである。2022年度の研究では、2021年度に引き続き、沖縄で文献調査をかさね一次史料の調査収集を行った。2022年度は特に、次の2点を中心に研究を進めた。第一に、沖縄戦体験記録運動の嚆矢に位置づけられる『沖縄県史9巻』(琉球政府、1971年)の、聞き手・宮城聰の個人史の検討である。2021年度は宮城の戦前から1950年代を中心に検討したが、2022年度は、1950年代末以降を対象に資料調査と収集を行った。具体的には、沖縄県公文書館に所蔵されている、1960年代～1980年代に執筆された未発表原稿を網羅的に調査した。調査結果は、2022年12月に行われた同時代史学会年次大会の自由論題枠にて報告した。宮城聰の個人史の検討結果は、現在、論文を投稿中である。第二に、『沖縄県史9巻』の地域座談会の音声史料の分析である。宮城聰の個人史を検討するなかで論点として浮上した「言語意識」を一つの軸に、『沖縄県史9巻』の聞き書きのテクストおよびその元データである音声史料の分析を行った。その結果は、2023年3月に、日本オーラル・ヒストリー学会の研究交流集会において報告した。以上の検討と並行して、2022年度は沖縄での調査を6回実施することができた（2021年度は新型コロナウイルスの影響をうけて3回の実施に留まった）。一次史料の調査収集に加えて、地域の方と知り会い、インタビュー調査を2回実施した。加えて、個人が所蔵している資料をお借りすることができた。これらも調査の成果である。
