项目摘要

本研究の第2年次にあたる2022年度において研究代表者佐野好則は、本研究の3つの重点領域のうちの一つであるギリシア悲劇における神話叙述研究の領域では『縛られたプロメテウス』における神話叙述の検討を進めた。その研究成果として、2022年9月15日に開催されたオンライン国際学会 Peradotto Session III: Greek Tragedy Symposiumにて "Prometheus’ Prophecy on the Future Itinerary of Io in Prometheus Bound" と題する口頭発表を英語で行い、口頭発表に続く質疑応答及びその後の電子メールによる意見交換において、学会主催者であるニューヨーク州立大学バッファロー校のRoger Woddard教授ら海外のギリシア悲劇専門研究者らより有益な示唆を受けた。それらの示唆に基づき研究代表者は口頭発表原稿に修正を加え、海外の出版社による学術論文集への掲載のため修正原稿を作成し、2023年1月19日に編集者に送付した。2番目の重点領域である叙事詩における神話叙述の研究領域においては、ヘシオドス叙事詩におけるガイアの描写に関して、国際基督教大学において開催された国際シンポジウムPerspectives on Nature and Environmental Ethics in the Deuteronomistic Historyにおいて2022年11月4日に研究代表者は"The Views of Natural Environment in Hesiodic Epics"と題する口頭発表を英語で行った。3番目の重点領域である哲学著作における神話叙述の研究領域においてはプラトン『ゴルギアス』、『国家』、『パイドン』のミュートスを比較検討する作業を進めた。
