2022年度前半に引き続きトロント大学に滞在し、カナダ法の研究を行った。カナダ法における、継親のその継子に対する扶養の権利義務以外の法的権利義務（継親による親権・監護の行使、継親子間の面会交流等）につき補足研究を行った。面会交流については、（継親子間に限らず）ドメスティック・バイオレンス（以下「DV」）があった場合の対応が問題となり、カナダでは活発な議論がされており、様々な仕込むが試みられている。カナダにおける（継親子も含む）親子の面会交流とDVへのアプローチにつき、研究を行い、その成果の一部を公表した。カナダの学説及び実務で広く参照されているDV類型（Separation-Instigated Violence, Coercive Controlling Violence, Violent Resistance, Conflict instigated Violence）の特徴や面会交流事件において注意すべき点等につき、紹介した。日本の面会交流支援等の実務において、参考になると思われる。2022年度後半には、オーストラリア研究に着手した。2月から、オーストラリアのメルボルン大学で研究を開始した。主に、（１）子を扶養する義務を負う親が再婚した場合の養育費の額の定め方、及び（２）継親のその継子に対する扶養義務の性質につき、研究を行った。（１）については、オーストラリアでは、カナダ法と異なり裁判官の裁量に委ねられているのではなく、決まった数式により、扶養義務者と別居している子に払うべき養育費の額、及び扶養義務者と同居している、新しい家庭の子の扶養に与えるべき金額が決まる。カナダより、それぞれの子が平等に扱われているとの指摘があること、他方で、オーストラリア国内では、当該数式の在り方に対し、扶養権利・義務者の両方及び学者から批判があり、議論され続けていることが分かった。
