项目摘要

本研究の目的は，汎用的スキルの活用を踏まえて，社会系教科における概念型授業モデルの実用化の方法論を構築することにある。二年目にあたる本年度は，以下の取り組みを行った。第一は，本研究に関連する文献の収集である。昨年度に引き続き，国内外の教育動向に関する最新の文献，汎用的スキルに関する文献，社会系教科のカリキュラムや授業に関する文献，事例集や教材・ワークブックなどを収集した。本年度は，欧米や日本の文献を幅広く収集することができた。第二は，概念型授業に関する事例分析である。特に，現在出版されているアメリカの初等社会科教材（プログラム）の一つに着目し，分析に着手した。これは，探究学習として構想されており，資料や子ども用の読み物，教師用のガイド等がセットになったものである。この教材（プログラム）の問いや活動，資料がどのように組織されているかについての基礎調査を試みた。第三は，概念型授業に関する学習開発である。これまでに開発・提案されてきた授業事例等の検討を踏まえ，問題解決的な学習として社会系教科の授業を構成するための方法論を考察した。特に，知識の成長を促す方略について，問いの立て方や内容選択の基本原理を考察し，小学校５年生の食料生産を題材にした授業を構想した。ここでは，汎用的な問題解決のスキルのみならず，社会科としての資質・能力の育成に重点を置いて学習開発を進めた。また，民主主義社会の形成者の育成という観点から，子どもの知識の成長を支援し概念化を促す学習の重要性を合わせて考察した。
