本研究は、学生が成長するために必要な指導者と教員の連携内容と、円滑な連携を促す要因を明らかにすることを目的とする。2021年度は先行文献検討を行った。教員が実習指導時に実習指導者(以下、指導者)から支援を得るために、学生個々の学習状況、指導内容と方法に対する理解を指導者と共有する必要性や、学生が患者に提供する看護の質を保証するなどの教授活動が必要である(河内ら,2016)ことが言われている。また、教員による指導者との協働として、日々変化する学生や実習環境を把握して指導の方向性をタイムリーに話し合う、指導者の指導内容や学生の学習状況が相互に伝わるよう架け橋となるため、必要な情報を伝えるなどが述べられていた(望月ら,2020)。実習教育で看護教員が倫理的ジレンマと捉えた課題への対処としては、指導者・病棟と調整、上司・同僚と相談・調整などが記載されていた(植村ら,2017)。先行文献を参考にしながらインタビューガイドの検討を継続した。また、研究計画書について所属大学の承認を得た。2022年度は、プレインタビューを行った後に共同研究者らとインタビュー調査を実施した。5つの病院看護部と7つの看護系大学の管理職者に、研究の趣旨と対象者への研究協力について紙面にて説明し承諾を得た。また、看護系大学の基礎看護領域または成人看護領域の実習科目責任者および指導教員に紙面にて研究の趣旨を説明し、実習科目責任者8名、指導教員7名から同意を得た。次に、病院にて基礎看護学実習または成人看護学実習を受け入れている病棟の管理者および指導者を対象に紙面にて研究の説明をし、管理者11名、指導者9名から同意を得た。2022年9月～3月末においてインタビュー調査を実施した。録音データは個人が特定されないようにし、パスワードをかけて業者委託した。現在、逐語化データの確認を行っている。
