2022年度は、母乳育児とヘルスリテラシーの関係性について文献検討を行った結果、諸外国では母乳育児とヘルスリテラシーの関係性を見出す研究が多種多様に行われている。ヘルスリテラシーには年齢、婚姻歴、学歴などの社会的要因が関係することが指摘されているものの日本の現状は十分に明確になっていない。就業女性のヘルスリテラシーと仕事のパフォーマンス等に有意に関係していると限局的である。また母乳育児とヘルスリテラシーの関係性については、介入研究を通して見出しているものと見出していないものと相反しており、本邦においては十分な研究は行われていなかった。そこで本邦における成熟期女性のヘルスリテラシーの実態およびヘルスリテラシーに関連する要因（特に母乳育児等）を探索し、本研究課題のテーマである妊娠期授乳教室への具体的な示唆を得るために、以下の2種類の研究を行うことにした。そのために研究計画書の立案、委託業者の選定などを行い、倫理委員会申請の準備を行った。①赤ちゃんに優しい病院67施設における母乳育児の実態および妊娠期・産褥期における母乳ケアの実態を明らかにする②成熟期女性のヘルスリテラシーの実態と関連要因の探索を明らかにする。ヘルスリテラシーは、諸外国で使用されているHLS-EU-Q47日本語版と本邦の女性を対象に用いられている日本人女性版を用いて実態を把握し、本邦および諸外国との比較を行うことを目的にしている。
