项目摘要

研究の目的は脳外科医の持つ問題意識と現場の経験的知識を拾い上げて形式知とし、Web上で共有することである。このためWeb3Dを活用した表現形態をとることを目標とした。医療現場の感染症対策が厳しく計画が遅れている中で、脳神経外科手術に関して共通事項として必要と思われる部分について手をつけていた。本テーマの目標は、(1)脳神経外科手術に関する明文化しにくい知識を (2)3DCGを活用して (3)ネットワークワイドで共有する仕組みを共有することなので、初年度にはまずは脳の3Dモデルの扱いについて、当初は Web3D (three.js)によるアノテーションシステムとして取り組み始め、手術室の利用も可能なように非接触のゼスチャによる操作機能を模索し、データスキーマは固定的なものは不釣り合いであるため、医療オントロジーを参考に半構造データとして対象データのモデリング方法について検討した。チームの関連テーマとの関連もあり、VRの活用と試作システムの構築基盤としてゲームエンジン(Unity)の利用を決め、2年目にはUnityでの表現を試みていた。脳の部位を特定するための部位の分解、切断のユーザーインタフェースを検討し将来的には手術シミュレーションにも繋がる可能性も検討した。さらに3年目はシステム全体のまとまった構成としてデータ入力から問い合わせの具体的なインタフェースについて検討した。感染症による医療分野の分担者との共同がうまく進捗しなかったため、医療知識の細部についてはリモート会議で代表的な事例を提示してもらう程度であったため、一般化ができていないが、動脈瘤と脳腫瘍の切除について焦点を絞った形になっており、医療現場でクエリ言語の利用は困難なため，簡単な選択とテキスト入力だけで操作することを前提とした方針で進めた。コンピュータインタフェース関連の国際学会で進捗を報告している。
