项目摘要

本研究は多様性を持つ留学生の援助要請の特徴を理解するために，類型化にキーとなる特徴と彼らが選考する組織的条件を探る。その上で，援助要請の類型化を行い，留学生の援助要請を規定する要因を明らかにする。これらを踏まえて，留学生の援助要請を考慮した学生相談ガイドラインを提供することを目的としている。2020年度では，留学生の援助要請を理解し類型化するのに重要な特性を特定するとともに，彼らにとって相談しやすい組織的条件を明らかにすることを目的とし，レビューを行った。その結果，国内外ともに，特に日本において留学生の援助要請関連研究が不十分であることが示された。研究対象がアジア人留学生に集中していること，その中でも，留学生集団の中で数の多い中国人留学生を対象とする研究が多いことが示された。また，アジア人留学生に関して，アジア諸国の文化差異が無視され，アジア人留学生が一括されがちということも明らかになった。留学生の援助要請の規定要因として，アジア文化的価値観，民族的アイデンティティ，言語能力などの要因が抽出された。好まれる援助提供者やセラピストの特性に関しては，アジア人留学生は，同じ/近い民族背景を持つセラピストをより好むことがレビューで明らかになった。2022年度には、その結果を分析し，学会誌への投稿を進めてきた。質的研究の結果と量的研究の結果からは、コロナ禍において、留学生の援助要請は促進されるパターンと抑制されるパターン両方存在する可能が示唆された。レビュー研究の結果とコロナ禍の援助要請研究の結果に基づき，次の研究の準備を進めてきた。

This study explores the characteristics of diversity and the organizational conditions for the selection of foreign students.
